Recently, Ningbo Textile Industry Association officially issued the Ningbo Guidelines for Waste-free Textile Construction, which aims to comprehensively improve the green production level of the textile industry of the city and promote the construction of a "Waste-free City". As a leading enterprise in the textile industry of Ningbo, Shenzhou Group participated in the compilation of the guideline and set a benchmark for the textile industry of the whole city by virtue of its outstanding achievements in the practice of "Waste-free".

Shenzhou Group strengthened the construction of renewable energy infrastructure and increased the proportion of renewable energy through such measures as rooftop photovoltaic and outsourcing green power. At present, the proportion of green power of the group has exceeded 60%. Through a series of measures such as equipment upgrading and energy innovation, the energy structure was further optimized. Compared with 2020, the total carbon emission of the Group decreased by 16.8%.

In the aspect of resource utilization, sustainable products are preferred, and wastes such as plastic bottles are transformed into raw materials to be produced into environment-friendly recycled fabrics with fashion and functionality. Cooperating with the recycler to carry out the recycling project, the qualified textile recycler will recycle according to the regulations after the cutting cloth leftover and sewing leftover produced in the garment making process are weighed by the independently developed intelligent weighing platform. In 2024, the total amount of scrap produced in Ningbo will exceed 30,000 tons, and the recycling rate of scrap will reach 100% through closed-loop treatment and degraded cycle.
